Helen Morrison and Oliver Tüscher are among the coauthors advocating for a comprehensive EU-wide Coordination and Support Programme for healthy ageing and longevity.
As detailed in a recent ScienceDirect publication, the programme would aim to synchronize research efforts, foster innovation, and standardize regulations across the EU to tackle the aging population’s challenges. It includes capacity-building initiatives and leveraging digital health solutions to improve healthspan and address the socio-economic impacts of ageing.
