What is resilient ageing?
Thanks to medical advancement, the life expectancy worldwide is getting longer. However, the new challenge is how can elderlies remain healthy and socially active. What is the secret to stay mentally young? How can seniors maintain a healthy and energetic lifestyle? Why do some people appear younger and some much older even if they are of the same age?
We aim to identify resilient mechanisms that are active against ageing.
We aim to ensure their long-term stability and exploit them to extend health span in our ageing society.
